When thinking of the bohemian trend, you’re instantly consumed with paisleys, crochet, multi layers and stunning floor length gowns. The interesting detail about this trend, the many times I've seen designers transition this style and enhance it into their own. No one becomes bored of it; bohemian chic has etched a permanent place within our wardrobes and now deemed as a staple.

Although I'm not a huge fan of the trend, I’ve gained a strong admiration for the women who wear it. Genuinely when I hear the words Bohemian I think of west coast girl, having fun in the sun and dancing in the desert. Respectfully, it is a classic trend, but I haven't been entirely sold until recently. During NYFW Designer Erin Fetherston introduced us to her version of Bohemian chic, combining femininity and luxury for her Fall-Winter collection, entitled "In Pursuit Of Reverie".

After receiving continuous praise for her alluring designs and radiant persona. Designer Erin Fetherston revamps the thrifty bohemian style into luxurious essentials, by incorporating romantic elegance to compliment timeless silhouettes. Using a rich palette of warm tones on billowy dresses, charming blouses and delicately constructed separates, adding a touch of whimsy.

Certainly the designer’s fascination is to reveal the whimsical aspect of bohemian style, developed into contemporary luxury that can be worn seasonally. Personally, Fetherston’s refined aesthetic of the classic trend completely elevates the style incorporating pieces for every modern woman.
